This is a Vintage Welch Allyn Ophthalmoscope and Otoscope with a National Electrimatic Wall mount Cat No. 6023-26203 from Statham Medical Division. It is made by Welch Allyn of NewYork.

Welch Allyn Ophthalmoscope, Manufactured by Welch Allyn Company, then of Auburn, New York. Manufacturers number 154052; Ophthalmoscope head pat 2311503 additional patent no 2027663.

The Welch Allyn Company was, and is, a pioneer in medical instruments. This vintage, circa 1950s Welch Allyn Ophthalmoscope is used by medical personnel to do ear, and with the additional attachments, nasal exams.

One of the heads has a patent number which corresponds with the year 1936, is in good condition given that it has been around for the better part of a century.

Standard ophthalmoscope uses halogen light for true tissue color and consistent, long-lasting illumination. Versatile and reliable at an economical price.  Operating otoscope is an open system with rotatable lens and optional speculum for convenient procedures, brighter, whiter light than traditional otoscopes.
